A Family Company Built on Doing It Right
JMW Electric is a veteran-owned, family-operated electrical contractor based in Fort Myers and serving all of Southwest Florida. Owner Josh Wilson built the company on a simple idea: when you call an electrician, a licensed electrician should be the one who shows up.
We keep the company small on purpose. No layers of salespeople, no apprentices sent out alone, no runaround. You talk to a real person, you get a free estimate you can approve from your phone, and the work gets done to code by people who answer for it.
From panel upgrades and Generac standby generators to EV chargers and lanai lighting, we treat every home and business like it belongs to a neighbor, because around here, it usually does.
What You Can Expect From Us
The same three things on every job, whether it is a single outlet or a whole-home generator.
Straight Answers First
A free on-site assessment and a written estimate you approve digitally before any work starts. No diagnostic fee, no pressure, no surprises on the invoice.
Licensed Work, Every Time
Every job is done to NEC code by a licensed electrician. That protects your family, your equipment, and your homeowner's insurance coverage.
A Real Person, Start to Finish
We tried an AI phone answering service once. We turned it off the next day. When you call JMW, you talk to a person who knows your job and follows it through.
